If you're new to Green Smoothies and do not have all of these super-foods at your disposal, I would recommend beginning with Chia Seeds (high in protein and dietary fibre, gluten-free) and Spirulina (contains more protein than fish or beef, has an abundance of multi-vitamins and minerals) to begin your wellness journey.

Ingredients
- 2 generous handfuls of Spinach
- 3 Cos Lettuce leaves
- 1 bunch of fresh Parsley
- 1 cup Filtered Water
- 1/3 cup Un-sweetened Almond Milk (home-made is the best)
- 3 Tbsp Almond pulp (If unavailable, substitute for 10 raw almonds)
- 1 small frozen Banana
- 2 handfuls frozen Blueberries
- 1 tsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tsp Bee Pollen
- 1 tsp Maca Powder
- 1 tsp Mesquite Powder
- 1 tsp Spirulina
Method
- Using a high-powered blender, add all ingredients.
- Pulse and then blend for 1 - 2 minutes or until ingredients have combined.
- Pour smoothie into large bowl.
- Top with ingredients such as: Goji berries, almond flakes, buckinis, coconut or fresh fruit.
